Hope and Mark were married at Bridgepoint Bible Church. It was a large venue, but didn't appear so, because so much attention was placed on creating a beautiful and intimate atmosphere. The reception was at Artista in downtown Houston. As their family and friends danced through the night, Artista's very classy and upscale environment created the perfect mood.

The clear blue skies and sunny day was the perfect backdrop for Erin and Tony's wedding at Briscoe Manor. We saw why they chose Briscoe as the wedding venue with its beautifully manicured grounds and stunning decor. In addition to the gorgeous chapel, Briscoe also had a beautiful lake beside a hill where we were able to take some portraits of the bride and groom.

These are some hot pics - literally! Today, the sun and the sun's co-conspirator, the humidity, got the best of us. Candice was a real trooper though, as we braved it around 2pm on this very hot and humid Saturday. Heat wave or no heat wave, we managed to get some excellent photos of Candice in her reception gown. Whew! Water never tasted so good.

This large corporate park located in Sugarland had everything you need for a great engagement shoot: fountains, lakes, lush greenery and trees, and photo-friendly park benches.

Weddings are great fun all by themselves, but coupled with a landmark venue like Lakewood, we really had an exciting day! Mike and Xiomi were the picture of love as they exchanged vows in the Lakewood Chapel. After the wedding and before dashing off into the stretched hummer, we managed to get some memorable pictures of the wedding party in front of the Lakewood sign. If you've ever been to Lakewood, you know this is no small feat! The reception at Rosemary's Garden was also a blast.

Oh, and I have to mention Mike and Xiomi's wedding coordinator, Sabrina Patrick of Chic Soiree Weddings and Events (http://www.chicsoireehouston.com/). Sabrina was one of the most active and professional coordinators we've ever worked with. Anyone out there looking for a coordinator should give her a call.

Ah, Oyster Creek Park in Sugarland. I've shot at so many great locations throughout Houston, but there's something about the simple beauty of Oyster Creek Park. It's not so big that you've got to trek miles for that perfect location and it's not so small that joggers, picnickers, and other park patrons become a photoshop nightmare. With its close-in-proximity fountains, lake, benches, and canopies, it just has engagement shoot written all over it.

Michelle and Eric were lively and downright funny. They shared an infectious sense of humor that resulted in a great set of engagement pics. Just like love and laughter, they are a perfect combination.

Tamisha and Ito - Engagement Shoot

Go McAuliffe Hawks! The principal of the Christa McAuliffe Middle School, with the support of her staff, allowed us to shoot here for the better part of two hours. Tamisha and Ito met at the school while they were students during the mid-1990s, and I had a great time shooting them as they reminisced about old times. Theirs is a true American love story.
